Booking conditions

PRICE
The fares are those published on the website at the time you made your reservation. The currency is in USD.

BOOKING
It is effective at reception of a deposit or the total amount of the trip. CAMINANDO COSTA RICA will send by fax or e-mail an invoice expressed in USD.
• From the booking date to 45 days before the date of arrival, the client will have to pay at least 30% of the total amount of the fixed price. The balance outstanding will be due for payment 30 days before arrival.
• Less than 45 days before the date of arrival, the booking will be taken into account only after the total settlement of the fixed price.
Besides, the client will have to send his bank’s notice of transfer by fax at +00506 2258-0350 or by mail at conta@caminandocostarica.com

PAYMENT
Each payment will have to be made by bank transfer on CAMINANDO COSTA RICA S.A USD bank account, all bank charges will be borne by the client.

CANCELLATION
In case of cancellation by you, we will deduct:
• More than 30 days before the arrival date 50 USD per person as file expenses.
• From 30 to 21 days before the arrival date 25% of the fixed price’s total amount.
• From 20 to 8 days before the arrival date 50% of the fixed price’s total amount.
• From 7 to 2 days before the arrival date 75% of the fixed price’s total amount.
• From 2 days to the arrival date, the total amount of the fixed price.

ASSISTANCE
CAMINANDO COSTA RICA gives its clients assistance in case of necessity during the whole length of their stay. An emergency phone number will be given to the clients on arrival.

INSURANCE
CAMINANDO COSTA RICA S.A is insured with professional legal responsibility.
However, we are not accountable for any individual’s civil liability that each client is supposed to hold.
Any other insurance is included except for renting cars. It is strongly recommended to own a comprehensive travel insurance covering: emergency, repatriation, medical expenses, theft or baggage lost…
In case of a claim, CAMINANDO COSTA RICA will conceivably assist you with what you have to do.
